MySwara

MySwara is an invite-only portal for music teachers and students. Teachers (gurus) and students (sishyas) use MySwara to share lessons, practice materials, and progress in one place. MySwara is operated by Sound of Carnatic.

Purpose of MySwara

Teachers build a library of materials (audio, video, links, notes) and unlock them for students
Students practice, submit work, and track to-dos and feedback
Progress updates from teacher grading — visible numbers both can see
Lesson logs from the site or Telegram, with totals and dues
Curriculum, practice, feedback, and logs in one private portal

Why MySwara uses Google user data

MySwara uses Google sign-in so invited users can authenticate securely. MySwara receives basic account details such as name and email to create or link a MySwara profile. Google sign-in does not make MySwara public; access remains invite-only.
